niki carburator part identification

hey Everyone I recently pulled my carburetor apart for cleaning purposes after it sit for a good several years as I was cleaning it and putting it back together I had thought that I lost the ball for the accelerator pump outlet after I flipped the carb over I looked down the hole For the accelerator pump Outlet and noticed that this piece was stuck in the hole at the bottom so I do not know if I have actually lost the ball or this peace here that I am pointing to in the picture is actually the ball or just stuck in place I'm confused and don't want to finish putting everything together if I am possibly missing something so if anybody could identify what this is that I am pointing to that is in this hole I would greatly appreciate it

That's a brass plug from the original drilling of the circuit. You'll find another one leading to that point, too. It's supposed to be there. I've drilled them out before to get stuck check ***** back out and stuff, but it kinda needs to be replaced, as the pump shot is directed from the diaphragm from there...

So I should drill it out and then replace with another brass plug? And when I replace it do I put it in the same spot I just didn't know if this is supposed to be stuck like that or if it's supposed to move

Two new ***** come in the kit that appear to be the right size for our carbs. I'm kind of amazed considering everything else in the cheap aftermarket kits is just terrible. And Mazda doesn't sell OEM kits anymore as far as I know.
