yeah.. ok.. so that didnt work at all... anyway.. here's my questions:
the 1st gen that i'm looking to buy needs a carb.. i want to go with a holley/intake combo from RB. does this setup eliminate most of the vacume(sp?) lines from the stock carb? if so what do i need to do to block off all of the places that are left sucking vacume?
and is there a cheaper alternative than the holley kit?? it isn't exactly cheap.. and i'm 17... and this is all my money... so yeah... i'm gonna be poor already after i buy the car. anyway
thanks

wow, being drunk really gives you a great perspective on this thread..........bbbbbbbbaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh, um
probably want to look at buying a stock niki off someone. probably the cheapest for you. if you don't need to worry about emissions then you'll have maybe 1-2 vacuum lines.

As far as vacuum lines go, do a search for rats nest or emissions removal. You have more info then you can manage.
The only alternative less expensive then the Holley is a Yaw. Again, a search will bury you in info.
Since you are on a budget, forgo the fancy intake system and pick up a good used stock unit. The stock carb/intake is not the restriction on a stock car. I’m sure someone one this board can help you out. If you have a few bucks and want to increase power then get a Bonez catalytic converter replacement pipe and fuel pump.

I just started pulling off hoses and stuff, seemed to work good for me, now I have one hose going to my intake. And that is the after burn valve!
