4-port or 6-port need advice all fb brainiacs help

hey all fbers i have a choice for my newest project i want it to be carbed with a side draft and webber set up something along those lines, ill check into that later, i am buying an 82 fb with racing tokico suspension,i want it to corner and be all motor (for a while) and i own 2 fbs right now im trying to get rid of them to no avail, but my actuall question is this should i take the 6 port out of my se and carb it, or buy a 4 port for 250 dollars and work with that? wich has more potential? and what do you suggest?!?!?!!?!?!!?!?

For a stock engine, the 13B 6-port has more potential than a stock 4 port...12A or 13B for that matter. A carbed 6-port 13B will have good drivability characteristics throughout the rev range..and able to put out around 165 to 180HP at the crank. A stock 4 port engine with bolt-on mods will produce around 150HP. Now if youre going to do any porting ..street or bridge.. the 4 port is the way to go.

anyone else......for rite now im going with the 6 port so far.

car: 600
intake and carbs:734 plus shipping according to mazdaracing.com
engine (6 port) out of my se.....free
engine (4 port) 300 shipped and it runs
how much hp should i be making, on top of the carbs and intake making me gain more power i plan on making my own induction system through the hood. put an electric fan onto it, rats nest removal, i searched on that but all i got was beating around the bush, any direct site links, replace the cat with a straight pipe get a header from probably rb, any suggestions on muffler?
