Newbie needs help, bent rear axle

Hi everyone,

My right axle is bent, and I cant seem to find one localy. So I searched online and all I find is "AXLE ASSEMBLY". Is this what I need? I have an 81 rx7.

Very few salvage yards will sell an axle shaft seperately, unless the rest of the rearend is bad.
A rear axle assembly will be a complete rearend. Just be aware that 83-85 cars use a different flange for the driveshaft. The rearend will fit, but you will need the driveshaft to match, if the unit is from an 83 or newer.

Ok so its not what I need, cause only the rear right axle is bent. I thought it was a one piece axle, everywhere I go I see axle this and axle that. I dont know what to get.

You would most likely be looking for an Axle Shaft.

Next question, is it Drum or Disk? they are different.

You will need one from an 81 - 83. Some late 83 models can have the larger axle and would be incorrect for you.

Have you posted in the parts Section? I am sure someone would be happy to sale you one. I would but I just sold my 81 Rear last week and the 83 I have I am not ready to pull the rear yet.
