Newbie here and got some questions

Alright I just purchased a 1985 GS completely stock and unmolested. I got some money leftover for a few mods. I was Thinking of getting an MSD Blaster Ignition box along with a blaster 2 coil for the leading ignition. I also want to do the transistor trick but I wanted to know if that is possible without doing the direct fire mod. Second mod I want to do is the Carter fuel pump and Holley FPR with the dual fuel filter mod. I ewill also get rid of the mechanical fan and replace it with an e-fan. I was also wondering if anybody has any instrution on how to wire up the msd box. I don;t want to make any mistakes. So how much do you guys think it will benefit from these mods? I really can't afford an exhaust right now, but would it be worth it to replace the muffler alone? Thanks for anyones responses.

Yes it is worth it. You'll probably get a better hp gain than with the MSD mod.
