Hey guys and gals,
I am new to the Relem of the rx7, for the childhood years I was all about v8 power. Well I just got an 83 gls and I love it and want to upgrade it. For now what are the simple things I should go with? I would like to be in the low to mid 15's with it and drive it everyday (FOR NOW). Once I get some cash I would like to go all out. Nevertheless Help me out there, I am learning and would also like to learn all the terms. Teach me I WANT TO LEARN

To make Low 15's your going to need extensive Mods. I think a;
Streetport motor
Weber IDA48 (or larger) carb
Full streetport exhaust
upgraded fuel system

The stock Gsl will run around mid 17's in the 1/4. there claim to fame is the handeling and cornering ability.

But the best way to make very noticable power gains right now is exhaust. Header presilencer and muffler. If you arent worried about emessions than ditch the cats! you will be plesantly surprised at the gains.

Also do a search on the forum, you will deffinetly find what your looking for.
