New starter won't work
New starter won't work
Hay guys I jus got a new starter for my car and it only works sometimes other times it will crank just too slow to start it I checked all the connections I could I checked the battery it's putting out 12 volts like it should any advice would help alot thx
Earth? Do you mean ground? I checked it the neg from the battery (in the back long story) runs from the battery to a ground on the underside of the body to the ground on the engine ware the long starter bolt runs through the engine and tranny to thread in the starter
Battery should be putting out slightly more than 12 volts. Otherwise the voltage drop to the
starter will cause it to be too weak to crank. Recharge the batter and make sure all the battery
post connections have been recently cleaned along with the ground connections.
