Hahahaha turbo shut off switch...Interesting idea......

Dont mean to be an ***, but I think you need to become familiar with the search button. You arent gonna get much outta people with a first post like this.

Welcome andrewgr6!

Look toward the top of the posts and you will see a thread titled "Sticky: THE 1st GEN RX-7 FAQ PAGE!"

Click on that and it will answer many of the questions you have about upgrades, etc. (except for the turbo cut-off switch).

Also, on the right side at the top of these posts, you'll see a "Search this Forum" link to click on that will help even more.

All forums are set up differently but this will get you started.

Cheers,

DD

turbo cutoff switch isn't a bad idea; fuel economy.

That is, if you have a standalone fuel system with different fuel maps for with and without the turbo.
On a carbed car, youd probably be running prety rich without the turbo, and wouldnt see any more mileage gain that keeping out of boost.

I guess its an interesting concept, but without a custom standalone fuel system it just sounds silly.
