Don't forget the question on page one post 25 I think I found my answer that the pump only runs with the engine running but just wanted to make sure. And that I can jumper the fuel pump relay under the drivers side of the dash to run the pump with engine off

I have a 12a and I jumpered my fuel pump for a bit to test it. I beleive the 13b setup and 12a setup are the same with the jumper; so yeah you should be able to.

BTW great find, you should totally buy it. Mine sat for 12 years. I dropped the tank and it wasnt even rusty it just had realllly old gas in it. So you may just need a drain.

yep changed oil and drained all 13 gals out of the gas tank threw the drain plug, ready to put in about 6 gals of new gas and purge the lines of the old gas (may premix the new gas). Should start thursday night with adding MMO to the rotors and hand turning the motor over for a few days to relube motor

As far as i know when you turn the key in the "on" position and not start the car you should be able to hear the fuelpump for a brief moment.

If not, there's a big chance the pump is toast and needs to be replaced. Not uncommon by cars that sat for many years.

BTW, great find, she looks awsome!

Is the pump accesible with out pulling the tank? Like threw a panel in the rear or is it a tank pull?

That is amazing, have some patience with her and follow all the advice.

Mine is in comparable condition but many more miles. It appraised at $9,100 and collector car insurance costs me $120/year.

Trying to locate fuel pump relay to do the relay bypass mod to power it up to purge the lines and not able to find a 6wire connector like the write up only finding a 8wire connector going to a large metal relay under the drivers side dash. Any ideas?

Lots and lots of cranking but no fire checked and had good spark. And plugs looked to have fuel on them. Kept messing with it and still nothing so I got pissed a dumped some gas down the intake and she fired rite up. So I got no fuel in the motor, but good pressure to the fuel rail, guessing both injectors are gummed up or no power to the injectors so I pulled the intake mani and the fuel rail tonight and tomorrow ill check injector pulse with a noid light and I guess if I have power ill order new injectors while im sending my originals to witchhunter to be rebuilt. She was a smoke show on start up tho from all the MMO in it.
