hey all I am now the proud owner of a 85 gsl 5spd
My brother in law won it a an auto auction and gave it to me for free. ( sat in his yard for 6 months)

Here is my question I have modded every car or truck I have owned since I was 16 besides the basics like free flowing exhaust and intakes what are some power adders that are popular with these engines?
I dont want to pull the engine or anything like that just some bolt on style mods.

First start off with a nice exhaust header, then get the rest of the exhaust pieces. Be prepared to spend alot of $ on these parts, unless you come across a good deal. The exhaust on a rotary is alot hotter then on a normal piston engine.

Do a search, you will find a lot of ideas.
In the meantime, here is my list (some reality, some wish):
Racing Beat header and presilencer
Free flow muffler
Yaw Carb and ported intake
Street port
K&N Filter
MSD ignition
just my opinion,
hanman

Congrats! I'd do some heavy modification to the engine if I were you.
