i would either use an 83-85 radiator or an FC radiator, both would work really well.

the FC rad is bigger, but the 83-85 is almost a bolt in

the stock radiator is actually ok too, although the other two choices are what mazda used at t2 power levels (the 83-85 radiator is slightly larger than the competition radiator)

The SA has the short 3 core radiator. Move the FMOC per my write up and go with a tall 3 core radiator. Done.

S1 and S2 radiators were 3 core, with the S3 being 2 core. Throwing that in there.

I thought the S1 and SE's have the shorter 3 row rads with the bigger oil cooler instead of the beehive leaving the S2 and S3 (12A) with the taller 2 row rad

79-82 have the short radiator and stacked oil cooler.

83-85 12A have the tall radiator and beehive

the GSL-SE and 12A turbo have the tall radiator and the oil cooler mounted in front of the radiator

Which is an excellent option for a TII, because the electric fan can draw
air through both coolers (Radiator and Oil).

There is no neglible difference in cooling between the
two different radiator types because the difference in length is
made up by girth.

LOL, that sounds dirty...

but I think we can agee that the bigger oil cooler in the stacked setup is muy bueno and can mod the FC cooler into the location
