New Problem w/ GSL-SE (carbed)
Okay, so I have an 84 GSL-SE that's been converted to carb w/ a Holley carb (non-RB modified). It'll start, but it won't idle anywhere under 2k rpm, meaning, I can make any adjustments I want, and it'll idle at 2k, and often will begin to run higher than 2k rpm if I leave it running awhile.
It ran fine before I rebuilt it. I did what some have suggested to it to make it work better w/ a rotary (remove power valve, install spacer under carb, etc) and that's when this new problem arose. I've checked float level and it's good, accel pump is good also. Im thinking it might have to do with the jets? They are 62s I believe and couldn't find any close to them locally so I didn't change them out for the bigger jets.
I was just wondering if anyone else has any ideas as to what my problem might be, and where I should spend my money to get her running good again.
Thanks!
Marc
