New parts car

I got a new redwhite parts car today for $75. I charged the battery took a while to start and then purred and idled without warming up and it's a 12A (cool). it's an 81 , so i'm gonna take the engine out of it and put it in my other car.

And i've never done a pll before so here ya go. I'm happy.

75$- sounds very good. I just purchased one for $150. Thought it had some good interior/exterior parts. Well, funny how good stuff looks when it's covered in dirt. I need to start the engine in this car and see if it is useable too.

A couple months ago. I got a free parts car
A 87 Rx-7. I took the engine and seats.

I'm going to make TV chairs out of the seats.
I'll mount them to some boards and put carpet on them.

I'm attemting to rebuilt the engine. Just because I want to. I'll never done it before. Wish me luck. And this is my first look at the interior of a rotary. Very cool!

I was thinking the exact same thing. (and where do all you guyz get free cars??)
The seats in the car are good, but the mechanicals (frame/recliner) are rusted, and the cloth is not torn, but very worn. I thought about mounting them on something (plywood or metal tubing?) with a console in between- for drinks and the remote! Make a great PS2 seating area. I would put covers on the seats.
ANd I also was going to rebuild the engine. I figure it is better to learn how everything goes together on my parts car than my good car.

Also- does anybody know a quick and dirty way to hot wire an 85 gs? I don't have the key, but would like to see the condition of the engine/trans. The car was actually being driven after it was wrecked, so I am concerned about engine terminal damage- but it does have oil, but the coolant is gone (all the hoses still intack though).
