New paint pics.

Low quality pics from a shitty camera but you get the idea.

Got all my bin rust fixed. and the paint turned out pretty damn good. a few imperfections here and there but overall, quite nice.

Oooh, that is beautiful. I've always wondered how a 1st Gen would look in silver. I like!

Looks awesome, that was the look I was going for with my stock body, but it was going to just be too expensive to get done.

Nice Did you ask for the side molding to be left off?

yessir.

Max7's car and this silver one are the two that convinced me that no moldings was the way to go.

I was never a fan of removing factory moldings. I thought it devalues the car, "unitl i saw you pics!". I think the car looks great and more modern without the moldings, great choice for the car.

I think I got a good deal. I went through the guy that does alot of stuff for my work.
I told him what I was after and gave him all the time he needed.

I got all the bin rust fixed proporly with new metal welded in, lots of wet sanding, several coats of factory paint code base, and several coats of clear for $1600.

Thanks for all teh kind words.

it would look better if you put the pin-stripin back on to highlight the major body lines

I agree with the pin stripe. Put a thin black one on the top body line.

That looks great! My plan is to evantually paint my car the factory 83 limited edition silver once I get all the body work done. I was also debating to side molding or not ...and I think my mind is settled on no moldings. Nice car!

Not yet. They are in very good shape though.

I'm going to have them redone at some point (I love SE wheels and want a perfect set!) I'm also in the market for a place to do it at the moment.

very nice, good job. I kinda like the look of no pinstripe, the car has good lines on it's own.
