just brought it home. need to remove all chromes, markers, emblems and whatever as the car will need to go to the body shop. All complete except no motor and the car came with original 15X7 CENTERLINES.

What is is? RX-2, 3, 4?
What's the round silver thing above/forward of the gas door?

Any interior shots?

It looks classic muscle...

Ahh, Man thats a beautiful Rx-4. Wish I can get my hands on one. It's so hard to get anything on the east coast. Seems like all the old rotaries are on the west coast or should I say the good deals.

yes, its a 74 RX-4 with original paint job but has surface rust. The round thinging is for ventilation.

lol. yeah, I picked up the car for $400 plus $50 for tow dolly. I sold it to my cousin today for $450 since he fell in love with my prior RX-4. I just couldnt say NO. Oh well, at least, it will stay within the family. I will find another one sooner or later...I hope its complete like this one. BTW: Im keeping the 15X7 centerlines so I still made $$

I'm slowly developing a fondness for the RX-4s......
That's a nice find!

What are your (your cousin's) plans for it post-paint-job?

the car was originally blue exterior (kinda metallic of some sort) and black interior. It will be painted the same color but more than likely, it will be midnight blue with either blue or gray interior. BTW, I told him to keep the original square exhaust tip. When its done, it will have the almost original look. As far as the rims, he will use my old 13x8 stock stretchies with black rims/chrome trim rings. I think it will look unique since the chrome moldings are in tact.

I kinda feel like **** right now for giving it up but a promise is a promise. And Robert is right. this darn thing is heavy. It takes more effort to pop the hood in the RX-4 than in the RX-3 or SA/FB.
