unusual location for a gauge in the center of the steering wheel...
what do you have there...

I like it,,, a lott.
It is black, right? not grey, hard to tell from the pic., and my eyes.
The rollbar, and padding need to match the int.
That gauge in the s.wheel, not good, put it back in the hole in the center console.
It looks black, clean, and simple.
I wish mine looked like that, esp the seats.
What are those seats?, stock or aftermarket.

Does the horn beep when the gauge redlines?

Nice job, looks good.

Thanks Greg, not much chance of running across a pair of those for cheap.

Oops, I just realised the car and the carpet are blue, guess the rollbar does match.

1.The seats are from an FD. I bought them for $100 from a friend and I painted them black.

2. The dash was also painted black.

3. The screen can be bought on Ebay for $100 as well as the DVD/Mpeg Player

4. My next step is XM-Radio, so I don't think I'll need radio unit. (I hate FM!!)

5. The roll cage will be chromed very soon, as well as black carpet.

6. The temp controls will be reinstalled with the AC.

7. I was just messing around with the Boost gauge in the steering wheel.

8. The screen I have now is a 6.8" I plan on buying a 7" touch screen that will be placed on the inside of the dash.

BTW: The seats feal soooooooooooooo nice!

Thanks

Thanks

Thats one of those little things I've been meaning to do, but I've been to lazy.
I think manntis sells them.

Some interior paint from Advanced auto parts. So far so good, but I very rarely drive the car since I'm still waiting for the release the new (Self-Tunning Microtech LT-16)

I'll post tomorrow with the exact name brand of paint.

What kind of steering wheel is that?
10 year old Grant steering wheel. I painted that also, and the paint stuck very well. To my hands, that is!!

J/k........I'm actually very surprised at how well the paint sticks to the vinyl.

Awesome car, I have an 82 tan interior and a local guy sold me a pair of 3rd gen seats tan color as well expecting to just bolted'em and go. I find out that they dont fit on the holes of the 1st gen floor, that involve some sort of mods to make the brackets fit. since my 82's seats were all torned up I trowed'em away, now my car is just sitting since I trew away the old seats, I messed the rail tracks of the 3rd gen expecting that they were a perfect match with the configuration of the floor platform. would you share your secret about how did you make the rail tracks fit your car? I agreed with you about how confy the seats are, when I moved to my apartment we did not have large pieces of furniture only the bed, entertaiment center (obviously) a 52" tv and the kitchen table. the car seats were my couch on the living room, and my guest found'em ????????appealing??? my daughter loves them. but I want to see them on the car since they match the car's color. even just superimpossed the looks awesome but they are not attached to the car they are just inside. (now I have a sofa, love seat and couch)

Looks good!

You should get some white gauge faces. IMO

Where'd you get the carpet?

I'll pm you a little write up with some pics.

I'm thinking about the gauges, but right now the rx7 will have to wait cause I'm waisting my money on a second trip to Argentina with my friends (Girls, Girls, Girls)

I bought a big piece of carpet for like $30 and cut it myself. I'm about to do it over, but black this time.

Thanks for all the kind words.

Luis
