New here

Hey i just wanted to introduce myself, I currently own a road racing 1st gen rx7. I drive an modded svt contour as a street car, but my passion has always been with the rx7's so i am planning on starting a build up for a street car. I was hoping on seeing some decent power out of a n/a 13b but after a bit of research it seems as if my only option to see big power (250+ crank) is with forced induction. Just wanted to see whats up, and warn you of my barrage of stupid questions.

Welcome aboard

As you've seen, N/A power can only go so far on a 13B, which is a sad thing
Here is a link started by Sterling to help new people figure out ways to push the N/A 13B to its limits: https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=217446

Hope this helps,
FS

welcome!

just a question, why don't ya just do the 2nd gen 13b turbo drop in? it would save ya a lot of trouble and you already get the turbo (able to be upgraded) and the engine will have been already built for a turbo, just a thought, im just trying to get 140-150 rwp and keep it in csp for autox

I'm guessing you are suggesting I do a turbo II swap? When i said I was thinking I would have to go the forced induction route that was what I was referring to.

It would be for the most part a daily driver.

Yeah, The TII swap isnt nearly as hard as people try to make it out to be. Just do your research first, and no matter who tells you to, do not.... I'll say it again DO NOT swap the front counterbalance... it's there to counter balance the rotor, not the Flywheel. (found that out after we dropped the engine in.)

If you have any questions, there's a thread started on who has actually done TII swaps... plenty of info on it.
