Regular old dinosaur oil 10w30, pretty much any brand is good. Just stay away from synthetics, semi-synthetics, and things with add-ins that "reduce burning oil"... Our cars are DESIGNED to burn oil to keep the chamber lubed!
So with that in mind, keep an eye on your oil, because you *will* be burning some off and need to top-up once in a while. And change your oil fairly regularly (3-4000km seems to be a good bet). Expect alot of fun getting comments like "hey loser, your car's burning oil" or "geez, that blue smoke when you start up can't be good".... hehe

Oh boy, here comes another long thread. It's inevitable. You hit another hot topic: the oil. I've actually heard that both work.
