Yeah, the TII swap is very much well worth the effort, it really brings the 1st gen into play as a contender. Its much lighter than the 2nd gen, and with some minor suspension tweaks can outperform your average 2nd gen handling wise as well. Not to mention that the SA/FB are just straight up sexy.

Welcome fellow trini, im glad to see you're keeping it rotary and not the usual RB20 or SR20 like everyone else in the islands.. alot of guys back home are running s4/s5 motors in their 1st gens, actually my boy Rana was one of the first guys to do this conversion many moons ago.... Rana lives down south and he's very knowlegeable on 1st gens, actually his friend/mechanic Steven has a sick *** yellow SA with a s5 motor thats making about 400hp...
BTW if you ever need advice on anything rotary i suggest you come on here and ask or you deal with the 2 guys (Rana & Steven) i mentioned above, because most "rotary mechanics" back home dont know their asses from their elbows
good luck with the project and dont forget to lookup my friend, hes well known in the 1st gen community

Nice SA.

82transam has just completed a similar swap. Search for his thread.

Welcome to the forum. Enjoy.

Way to go Trini, I'm sure you will have loads of fun in that bad boy once you put the TII motor in.
