New to the forum

Hey guys.. new to this forum, but not a newb.

Looks liek some great info and peopel here, soon i will be working on the old RX7 again. Here is a history of the car:
in 1995 me and my dad got a 1982 Rx7 with a blown roatary motor for 500 bucks. we made some custom mounts and dropped in a Buick 3.8L V6. My dad used it for work for about 2 years , then let it sit until now. At its current state, teh brakes are seized and the engine overheats.

I plan on working on the rx7 as soon as my civic comes out of the garage ( just put an intgra motor in it).

I hope to find some good info here in terms of brakes, suspension, rear end, body, interior, etc.

I have no idea what model it is ( S, GS, GSL? ) the link in the FAQ section does not work..

There a few pics HERE

Just an FYI and a warning.

Boinger Rx's aren't well-received around these parts. You'll probably be treated like a pariah and no amount of explaining will convince folks that your car is better off without the rotary engine.

In short, good luck, cuz you're going to need it

Though a clean install, you need to get rid of that POS engine. It throws all that that car stands for, and the balance of the car off so much. I'm selling a 12a if your interested.

I really liked your car tell you opened the hood.

Get that freakin pisston motor out of that nice car. If you want to BEEF up you Mazda do something like this. As far as rotarys being unreliable. thats wrong. They are very reliable. With little matanince. and easy to work on. Some of them are even very good on gas.
