New to the forum
Hey guys.. new to this forum, but not a newb.
Looks liek some great info and peopel here, soon i will be working on the old RX7 again. Here is a history of the car:
in 1995 me and my dad got a 1982 Rx7 with a blown roatary motor for 500 bucks. we made some custom mounts and dropped in a Buick 3.8L V6. My dad used it for work for about 2 years , then let it sit until now. At its current state, teh brakes are seized and the engine overheats.
I plan on working on the rx7 as soon as my civic comes out of the garage ( just put an intgra motor in it).
I hope to find some good info here in terms of brakes, suspension, rear end, body, interior, etc.
I have no idea what model it is ( S, GS, GSL? ) the link in the FAQ section does not work..
There a few pics HERE

rotorheads dont like it when
A). you talk of your v6 piston engine swap
B). you talk about your other honda cars
but yeah i understand it was a blown engine so yeah i dont mean to give u ****, but rotorheads are very dedicated people! haha, yes you can find much info, the easiest way is to use the SEARCH button, if you cant find anything, then you ask. welcome. enjoy the forum its a good place.

does it have rear disk brake ? if it does, it has an LSD and its obvioulsy a GSL
if not, find a GSL rear axle
or a gsl-se rear axle and front corners to match the bolt pathern

it doesnt have rear disc, it's pretty much loaded except for power doors/windows.,, ( sunroof, power mirrors, ac, yadda yadda)
so what kind of rotary swap can i do then? what year rx7 motors can i drop in with easy or little mod's
i want something fuel injected.. been messing with carbs for years and cant stand them anymore.. and i want some tire squeeling power that i can take to the track eventually.
the urbo idea could be possible in the future after a rebuild, but for now im on a tight budget and would just like something more powerful then the 12a stock motor..

A 3.8L V6 is more powerfull than the 12A stock motor, (and now I duck and run for cover)
leave it alone untill you have some money to spend on it.
