New FB owner with questions

Hey folks,

I just picked up ab FB (will post pics when I get them). There is a second generation FC at the junkyard so I am wondering what I can use off of it. Do the second generation seats bolt in? Also, does the rear eand/axle assembly and the hubs/brakes bolt on as well?

the rear of a FC in independent suspension FB's are sold rear axle so no they will not fit the front mount oil cooler and lines will work on your FB should be able to get it for around 30 bucks

i do think the seats will fit. if its a TII you need to get the motor/trans. if its got a TII hood take that if you want to graft the vent onto your hood.. there are a few other things.. depending on if you have a 84 85 gsl-SE you can swap intake manifolds and TB

If it was a TII I would have pulled the motor already, its not though. My FB is an '80 so no gsl-SE, will any of the suspension swap over?

Take the under hood fuse box, one of the best upgrades you can do. People also like to take the strut tower covers under the hood because they kind of look cool.
