New FB Owner

Just bought a 1984 GSL.

Needs some work, hopefully i will have it running by spring.

Was thinking about adding a widebody, but now have decided to keep it completely stock.

Couple mods i am planning:
- glass moon roof
- whale tail
- chrome rims
- stainless steel exhaust
- tint
- maybe projector lights (cpracing ones)
-Bolt conversion.

Nothing too extreme. Will keep stock radio and use an RF modulator to play my mp3's over an fm channel.

Will have before and after pics soon.

just use the RB complete exhaust it will perform better than anything you can make it may not be as pretty as stainless but it will last just as long.

did you get the one for $500 that has the vacum issues, and needs the rad hoses? i was seriously considering that car at $800...seems like a good deal. looks clean, and low kms too.

if you're doing the 114.3 bolt conversion, maybe you wanna consider my tenzo c type wheels....unless you don't wanna go 17"...let me know dude

good luck with the car. is it your first fb? you seem to be more of an fc guy

Did you pick up your car yet?

Done with fc's for now, definitely a cop magnet.

i haven't picked it up yet. i have to get rid of at least one of my crx's to make room.

i am also interested in doing the 4x100 swap. i never even thought about swapping to 4x100 as an option. only 4x114.3. (my car is also gsl). there seems to be alot more wheels available with the 4x100 (hondas are everywhere). also, my tenzo wheels which i still may use not only have the 114.3, but also the 4x100, im leaning towards doing the 4x100

let me know what you find. the cheapest i've seen so far for spacers is $140 from ebay.

keep in touch dude.

Actually, the racing beat exhaust should last much longer, because it is designed to handle the extreme exhaust heat that a rotary engine produces. Plus, it's going to sound way better than any stainless exhaust you can find.

nah, going to keep this car and get it running by summer. It is definitely a 'conversation piece' to say the least.

Right now my concern is to get the car running and cleaned up, as you know the engine bay is quite a mess. And i am sure there will be other problems.
