The new family member!

If you've read my posts in here this latest addition to the 7 family is the cause of the trouble! still learnig the Sa . I ran out of daylight and this was the best photo I got of it at the moment.

It's a 79 SA that was an ice racing car in it's former life. It was rescued from a backyard where it was about to begin being over-taken by small forest creatures!
Alot work will be goign into ti and it will be repainted eith a shade of blue or black.

Thanks! Got it for $450. The interior is a mess, but it's got very little rust and is in good mechanical shape with a straight body. I just couldn't leave this car when I saw it sitting there!

Did it come with the spiked tires? Ice racing a 7 would be a blast. You should paint the 3rd gen blue, then you can be an all American import fan. lol. 2nd gen is a sharp looking 7, keep them up.

Thanks Trochoid! I put alot of work into my 7s. The Sa came with a set of racing tires that have like slick on one half and shallow tread on the other. Then it came with some regular all-season like tires. No spikies .

the cars got a roll-bar that needs to be padded and a ratty racing seat. The FD is blue depending on how the light hits it. It's the Monetego color, so it can be black blue or green.
I'll post up some more photos of the SA after the work's all done to it!

Wow, that's a nice collection of 7's you have there. Making me jealous. I want a white FC. And, I like how the rear wing was deleted from the FD. I find that it really cleans up the lines and curves of the car. Post up some more pics of that there SA, man!
