New Exhaust System For FB

I've been searching for the past week for a replacement exhaust system for my '84 GSL-SE, but I can't seem to find any definitive source on what's best. I've been looking at the Monza system, as everyone seems to have that, but it doesn't look like it comes with the part that connects from the muffler to the catalytic converter. Would anyone like to point me in the right direction? :]

Don't get the Monza/Pacesetter system, it's garbage. If you're looking for something bolt-on, Racing Beat is the only way to go here in the States. With the short-primary system, you reuse your current cat-to-muffler pipe. The long-primary system replaces the entire stock exhaust.

I'm goin magnaflow here on my GS.....And getting RB headers, I like the RB exhaust but it's CA legal which means its too quiet usually. Flowmasters are **** on rotaries magnaflow, borla or rb is the only three that are good to me.

doesn't ISC racing make a header? but yea, i'm thinking it would probably be more than just bolt on.

racing beat is the way to go. since you have 5th and 6th ports that open with exhaust backpressure, RB's setup includes the tube port for the 5th and 6th ports (or at least it used to) as well as an oxygen sensor bung already welded in place to accomodate your o2 sensor. this will nt only improve performance of the SE but it will allow you to retain excellent driveability.

I would get the racing beat street exhaust system, but switch out the 'power pulse' muffler for one of their universal 2.5" mufflers. The power pulse is just too tame sounding, IMO. DO NOT GET FLOWMASHERS:

compared to full racing beat system: (the awesome sounding dual setup that isn't available for our cars )
