Huh... is this on a 13b? because when my Downpipe got loose... the sound of that 12A with just the thermal reactor and nothing else... God Damn! That thing was ******* loud! Louder than some of the V8 boys...

No it's a 12A still. I ran my FB on open RB Road Race header for about 3 or 4 weeks, daily driving. It was painfully loud LOL. The vibrations from the noise volume rattled the carb base bolts loose! Mine fired up fine and it wasn't even collected so you have an issue. Did you put the fuel filter on the right way?

Did you remove the air pump, ACV and install a block off plate on the intake?

Make sure it isn't flooded, sounds like my friends FC when it flooded and started on one rotor. We had to keep it running and warm it up (took all of 15 seconds at 2000-2500 RPM after bump starting it) Also when I started my rebuild for the first time it flooded and ran like that for a second or two when I pulled the fuel pump fuse and got it to start. Pull your plugs and see if they're wet.

Yeah that sucks...it doesnt snow much here but considering my shop/garage that i have is not insulated it can get pretty cold when it doesnt snow or when a cold front comes thru.

well i put on the rest of the exhaust minus the muffler and i changed the sparkplugs and it started right up, every thing was going good till it warmed up and the choke went back in and it wouldn't idle by it self.

i hate the sound right now!!! its way to loud lol but maybe tomorrow when i put the muffler on it will sound alot better.

Take your carb off and clean it out with that B-12 Chemtool carb cleaner in a aerosol can. Blast out all of the jets, get all the sediment out of the foat bowls, used compressed air and wear goggles.
