Exclamation New CARB PROBLEMS HELP!!!

I have a 79 rx-7 with a 4 port 13b intake, holley 550, street port, headers, exuaghst, electronic ignition ect... OK I want run a bigger carb... my oldman had a holly 600 that came off of a 64 f-250 with a 292... we put it on my car and couldnt get the damn thing to idle under 2k... and it took a long time to derev... What is my problem??? Do I have to rebuild the carb or something in order for it to work properly??? HELP PLEASE!!!

A 600 is kinda big I'd think the most that you'd be able to use is around a 450-500 cfm carb. It's jetted for a 292cid, not an 80

Dude, you can't do that! The jetting's all fucked up. Racing Beat modifies Holley carbs for the rotary, but it's more than just popping in a few new jets. They drill friggin holes and ****. You'll NEVER get that carb to work.
Besides, it's too friggin big anyways. You'll be lucky to max out a 465.
