Just got another 7, an 81 GS, needs TLC sat in a yard for three years. Mileage is 149,531 kinda worries me but I've got an 85 GSL with only 105K so if it give up I've got a backup.

The guy I got it from was told it'd never run again; he drove it off the trailer and I drove it home(about 100ft).

I'm told its Mistic Blue(correct me if I'm wrong) its the same color as ssglopezvm's -SE, just faded.

It's a little rough inside and out. runs rough at idle until about 2200-2500rpm, think its the carb, thankfully I have a running 85 GSL with a good carb (plus other goodies). Figured I'd remove the nest when I swap the carbs.

Its my dayly driver until the four projects ahead are done, first mod will be an anti-theft system as I've read more than enough threads that talk about their FBs getting stolen.

If somebody can tell me how to downsize pictures I'll post the few I've got.

Just excited to have another rex in the driveway.

Fixed the idle, got it home and it wouldn't start. Pulled the dizzy outta my GSL dropped it in and it fixed it but still won't idle. going to pull the carb off of that GSL and see if it'll fix it.

While I'm at it I'll remove the nest. just to get it drivable.
