need some help guys.

I'm trying to decide what would be cheaper and easier.

Either a blowthrough/drawthrough turbo on my stock 12A (i'll probably upgrade the apex seals and get a FMIC.)

Or find a way to make it FI, slap a standalone and run a turbo on that. Before i get the usual standalones are expensive comment, i found a standalone that'll work for it for 350 bucks from a buddy of mine.

Thing is, i don't know much about carbureted, so blowthrough/drawthrough scares me.

Id recommend your stand alone unit since you're more comfortable with it and you can get a good deal on one.

well, one would it be easier to go that route, and two, how much do you think it would cost, especially having to modify a throttle body to fit it?

My dilemma is i'm a 17 year old working minimum wage lol, i'm on a strict budget.

Since thats your case, just sell the RX7 NOW lol. If theres one thing these cars always need, its cash. Beware.

As far as the conversion to fuel injection, I can't really give you a quote but it would be tricky. I'm sure there are some write-ups on the forum. Try searching for some like 12A fuel injected or something along those lines

the BEST option for going turbo is to go FI and standalone that will control both fuel and ignition. and there's nothing cheap about it.
