Hi group,
has anyone ever seen a paint code for the metallic gray door and window moldings? I'm having my car repainted and they want the code...

 

I've never saw or known of any paint codes for the trim or interior colors. In 79, they began with a gray-ish color for the window trim and door mirrors. In 1980, they switched to a more black color. I'll include a couple pictures for comparison.
Not sure what they did 81 and later. If you use something that is close, it should look fine.

Someone on the forum here used vinyl wrap instead of paint. The idea being that it would be more durable than paint and also easily reapplied. That is, you can do it on the car without masking as you would have to do if painting.
