82GSL

Ok heres the deal... I purchased a 84 RX7 that was beat to shreds but had a rebuilt motor with only 40k. I then talked to someone who had a 84 GSL with no motor... setup to run a Holley. Plans fell through with that has the guy decided to keep it and work on it. I stayed searching for a clean body to drop the motor in... until I ran across a 82 GSL on EBay. Motor had lost compression and the lady wanted to sell it. Car was MINT with the exception of a rust spot on the drivers door. Now Ive never done motor work before so I wasnt going to jump in there and do it myself so my father volunteered to do the job. After about 2 months of pulling his hair out he stopped leaving me hanging with no car. Now about 3 weeks ago a friend came over that has been dealing with rotarys for the past 15 years and decided to help. After about 2 days of work we get the motor in and ready to run. Crank the car... she starts... but has no fuel and can only run with the fuel we put into the carburetor. So he tells me... get fuel... and next weekend I will come back and get it started and let it run for a while. I get fuel and put it in... the weekend comes and we go to crank her... wont turn over. Just cranks and cranks and cranks but just wont start. We have all been sitting here for the past week puzzled. The car has spark, checked the plugs, the motor is getting fuel. We have no idea what it could be cause it started the week before with no probs... but it just wouldnt run cause it didnt have any fuel. Any suggestions? I need some quickly!! Thanks for your guys help!
