Need a little help please with oil cooler

Tonight I started trying to remove the oil cooler in order to replace the seals. I was able to get to one of the 10mm nuts (rad side) and two of the 14mm (rad and battery side). What I cannot get a socket or wrench on are the 10 and 14mm on the firewall side.

HOW in the world do you get these off?

I have some pics of what I got off, below the cooler where the oil has been leaking, and of a connection that came off and I dont know where it goes, I see no place to connect it. I did see oil on top of the motor to the left of where the cooler attaches.

The small nut has a little crack in the washer part, is that normal?

loosen the banjo bolt before you unbolt the cooler from the motor, or you risk bending the steel line from the front cover if you do it after the cooler is free, then just concern yourself with geting the whole cooler assembly off the motor, 1 bolt from the top on the carb side, 2 nuts from the bottom on fender side, it might hold on even after the bolts are undone, but should pop free with a light tap up from a rubber mallet, once its off, then you can split the cooler for the other 2 o-rings between the base and the cooler, careful I broke one of the bolts off the bottom of the cooler when reassembling the first time, it didnt seem to take much force at all,
next time was a snap.

So I loosen this one next to the firewall?

Once I do that, how will I get to the small 10mm down there?
