Need Help Rear End

HEY GUYS JUST GOT A FORD 9inch rear end for my 85 gsl se with a turboII motor but cant get the stabilizer bars to fit over the pumpkin does anyone have one that can post some pics would be very greatfull THANKS

Has this rear end been modded to fit at all? Why 9", the 8.8 is a lot lighter and still strong enough. If it's due to price, you may end up spending more in mods to get it to fit than an 8.8. Grannys sells an 8.8 that is a modded and direct bolt in. They may have picks of the moved mounting points.

I thought granny's was a 9"? Either way, the 9" is a waste of money. The 8.8 can easily handle 450+ hp in these light cars, and like trochoid said, its much lighter too.

Anyway, to solve your problem would not be too easy. Probably the best thing is to find a stablizer bar that is pretty much the same width as stock and custom mount it.
