Unhappy Need help with a project...

Hi, all. I have a Suzuki Samurai with a 12A Rotary. I'm posting my question here, instead of the "other rotary" section because I'm swapping the 12A for a S4 13B and I figured the first gen folks would know the most about this swap.

Just for the record, a rotary in a Samurai is an absolute blast. Lack of low end? Ha! Not compared to a Suzuki 1.3

Here is the current set up: http://www.cardomain.com/id/rotaryzuk

I mostly run this truck in the sand dunes where horsepower is king, not torque. I've loved it so far, but I recently came upon a great deal on a 1988 GXL. I want to swap to the S4 engine. I've done a lot of searching here and came up with a lot of great info. I'm a mechanic by trade and I specialize in electrical, so that end is no problem. I'll be removing all emissions and building a custom harness. After reading up on the 5th and 6th ports, I'll be using the Summit RPM switch (although it will likely be full electric with solenoids), porting the intake and adding the pineapple sleeves.

I've also read about swapping the front cover over to my 12A to keep the front mounts. Will this require the use of my 12A OMP or do I delete and premix? I'm premixing now, as I don't believe my current OMP is working. I use 100:1 redline synthetic. I'd rather have the OMP and the RotaryAviation resivoir adaptor, but which OMP should I rebuild for the (1983) 12A cover?

Now, on to the real delimma. Oil pans. The 1983 RX7 pan fits well. The front sump with the high rear clears the front axle perfectly. The S4 one does not. The extra depth of the pan will have it sitting directly on the axle. Is it possible to use a different pan? Is there another year 13B I could use? Will the 12A pan fit if modified? Is the pickup in the same place on both engines?

Thank you for any answers you can offer, this site has been very helpful.
