i have a problem......i have this noise that is becoming a big deal....when i dont step on the clutch i hear it and when i step on the clutch goes away when i drive i hear the noise louder.........what could it be i have a 85 gls-se........please help advise .......

 

throw out bearing, pilot bearing maybe. i have the same type sound but with a new clutch kit installed i know its the pilot bearing. i had problems with getting it out the back in.
