Hey guys this is my first time in your 1st Gen section and I need some help. I've been toying with the idea of getting a 1st Gen. I've been looking for some time now and found this car but I think it is priced to high even though it is in mint condition. What should I be looking to spend and is this an average price for this car in this good of shape?

Ummm...$6,000 for a BASE model? Haha...I bought my GSL for $500 (yes, five hundred). My Dad got his GSL-SE for $1000. I got my 83 GSL for free, and we got the 84 GS parts car for $25 and a 6-pack...I think that 6K is WAY WAY WAY too much for that car...No LSD, no sunroof, no nothing...Just my opinion though

WOW!! NO WAY!! IT FEATURES A "GAUGE CLUSTER"!!! Ive NEVER seen a car with a "gauge cluster" before...Woah, and carpeting, it must be your lucky day...And whats this!?!? A TACHOMETER!!! Oh my lucky stars, jump on that baby before shes taken!!

PS - Think of the mods for your FC, or a whole other FC that you could buy with $6,000...

 

If you weren't in PA I would sell you mine for about 1200-1300! Mine looks just as nice except it has a stereo and a ripped drivers seat! Eeesh!

 

WAAAAY too much. I paid less than $3,000 USD for my GSL-SE (top auf der line mit der bigger engine, etc) and it was extremely straight, near mint interior, both sunroofs, factory manual, etc.

 

Accually I did ask the sales guy if they were on crack for asking that much and all he said was, "Thats the going price". I said riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
