Need Help In Kansas City!

Can anyone provide the name of a good mechanic around Kansas City? The Auto Clinic says my misfiring 1983 RX-7 beauty needs a rebuilt engine - $2,800. I need a second opinion. Thanks.

That's their easy way out....saying it needs a rebuilt..
Did they do a compression test?
