Need Help with 85' GSL

My name is Matthew and i drive a 2004 RX8, and a 1985 rx7. So i have been in the rotary family for about 3 1/2 years now and have been building up my RX8. Now that i am satisfied for now with my rx8 i want to turn my attention to my rx7. I bought a 93' T2 motor and tranny that i am going to dump into the rx7, however i want to know what i would have to do to convert the 85' GSL to the 85' GSL-SE. Is there any difference or anything i have to convert? I am hoping you guys can help me out. I tried to search it but didnt come up with any finds. Maybe i was typing in the wrong phrases to search or what-not. So can anyone help me and tell me what i need to do to convert it to the GSL-SE spec. please?

When you are refeering to the GSL to SE are you wanting info on suspension?
The TII engine swap is the same in any Fb. There are atleast 3 large threads on this in the archives. Also on the suspension if that is what you are refeering to also there is a thread in the archives on that also.

Why are you trying to convert your GSL to a GSL-SE since you have a 93(??) T2 engine/tranny? Probably the only difference between the -se and gsl are the bolt patterns, one was carb'd prepped and the other FI prepped. The only things you need from a gsl-se is the front cover, if you are going to use the factory OMP, and the oil pan. But thats all up to you

i put the motor out of an SE in my car and i had no problems except for the wiring and the resistors and things like that i do know you have to get a 85 front cover and a SE oil pan other than that you need a fuel pump that will handle the fuel pressure you need to run that engine you might have to go with a SE fuel pump I'm pretty sure that SE fuel pump has more than enough psi for that engine or atleast that what i have heard.

well engine wise its all being swapped out to put in the 93 t2 motor and tranny inside. So the only thing is just bolt pattern difference? cool. i thought there was more to it than that haha! my bad. What about any other suspension differences? like the springs and struts or axles? sorry about the stupid questions but i rather ask them then not know anything, right?

basically because you have the 84-85 GSL models, it comes with big axles, LSD, disk brakes, which are what the -se's have. pretty much they are the same besides the engine setup.
