Need help with an '83 gsl-se
well...
i dont know to much about rotaries but i bought an '83 gsl-se that doesnt run for $300 so i could throw some money at it and make a fun second car
it doesnt run because it needs a new carb and a couple of seal and belts because it was sitting up for awhile
i need to know which carbs are going to be best for performance and where i can find them

GSL-SE's were only available in 84 and 85 model years. Either it's not an -SE, or it's not an 83.
Check the VIN for a year, and pop the hood to see if it's an -SE...
-SE's havea big metal box on top of the engine that says RE-EGI, non -SE's have a big blue air cleaner...

People are very fond of blaming a bad motor on the carb. esspecially when they are trying to sell the car.
There is a 99 percent chance you engine needs a rebuild.
