is your hoses hooked up to your heater core? ill post pics of mine (its got a circulating heater) and do you have your temp controlls set to heat? dose the fan work?

the hose coming out of the rad if the heater wasent there it would just go strait up to a metal pipe one wheel well.

metal pipe goes into a T

from the top of the T i goes into and out of the heater core.

heater out goes down behind the oil cooler into another metal pipe.

metal pipe connects to the front iron.

is that some sort of block heater i see with a AC plug coming off of it in your pictures? if so, where did you get it? how, specifically, did you mount it? and how much does it help?

its a circulating heater. you can buy them at hardware stores. their usualy ment for tractors. they heat and circulate the coolant through the block and the heater core (if you have it open and in the heater path) and if you have all the heater plumbing hooked up you just cut the hose that goes to the heater core in the lowest possible place connect it to the bottom of the heater (remember to clamp the hose or drain your coolant first or it'll go everywhere) clamp it onto the heater then what i did was get some new hose from the parts store and then remove the old stuff off the metal pipe that goes to the heater core and replace it with a long enough piece to make sure theres no kinks in the line and attach it back to the top of the heater and the metal pipe. make sure to clamp everything.. it would be best if you could somehow mount it to the wheel well so it dosent bounce around. or get anywere near the exhaust. once thats done rout a extention cord wherever you like and run the heater with the coolant cap off to flush out any air in the system then top up as needed..

im running a 750w heater (smallest i think you can get) it keeps the engine at about room temp if i actually bought the heater im using now (dad had a spare) i would of went with a little bigger in order to get the whole cooling system up higher so warmup time is less.

but heres some proof.
