Need advice on wheel bolt options

I have a 79 SA. Well i just got my new Konig rewinds today. i went out to test fit before i mount any tires. the wheels are 15x7 with 4 on 110 and +20 offset, with 73.1mm bore. i have hub rings coming to center the wheel, should be here tommorow.

here is my problem. i tried using the old wheel bolts off my SA and they are way to LONG. if i push the bolt through the wheel you can see like 3/8 to 1/2 of the bolts shoulder before the thread starts so they dont tighten up. im new to this so what are my options. i am wanting to get something that i dont have to order, hopfully get somthing in town that way i can get these things on this weekend.

thanks for any advice
robert

I had the exact opposite problem. I needed the lug bots that you have as my wheels were too thick for the stock ones. I had to order the 2.25 studs from pineapple racing, mainly because I wanted to switch to lug studs instead of bolts for ease of mounting.
But I believe if you go to an auto parts store and get the wheel studs for an 81-85 they are shorter, and should get you going. Or again Pineapple Racing has them for cheap, and fast shipping. I know that even when I asked Auto Zone for the 79-80 long bolts, they were the same short ones that I had.

Well About 5:15 this morning i was leaving for work and as i backed out i saw the 81 parts car, i keep forgetting i have that thing. Well i got the idea and stopped and pulled one of the bolts off. its SHORT YES!! just like Tracer said 81 and newer have shorter bolts and it will work. i will just pull those off and put my old wheels on there with the longer bolts.
