need advice

i have a 1980 rx-7. i am the second owner and the car only has 95,000 miles. the car in a whole is in mint condition. recently the car is smoking out what looks to be the carb. it drives the same but after a drive and you stop smoke starts to come out from the carb. has anyone had this happen to them? is so what is the problem. can someone refer someone in the tri state area that is good in fixing 1st gen rx-7. thanks for your time.

Check your metering oil pump lines. One of them may have a crack or is leaking under the carb and the oil dripping down onto the engine is smoking. The lines are located on the drivers side of the carb near the base. There are two of them. If one or both are leaking then replace them asap because your engine is not receiving the correct amount of lubrication.

Speaking of the OMP lines, does anyone make any replacement lines for a 81 12A? i've got 1/2 the plastic ones, and crap *** rubber hoses.
