Unhappy nead some more help please

my 84 7 has not ben working for the last month at first i was haveing problem getting spark and i was able to fix that problem by replacing the coils and the distributer and i got it started. i drove it around my block ant then i was going to try to time the engin. i tryed timing it and i could not figure it or properly so i read the manule and was able to understand how to do the timing. so the next day i wen to time it and again it would not start. i rechecked all the wires and it was still getting spark and still would not turn over. i removed one of the plugs and it was soaked in fuel like it had flooded it's self. so i removed the plugs and craked the enging to blow out some of the fuel. i wen and bought new plugs today and put them in this time putting the multy ground plugs that are suposed to be in the engin and it started up the moment i turned the key. i let it run for about 30 min and it died again and cant get it started again. and the plugs are soaked with fuel once again. pleas if you got any ideas i am realy runing out of ideas i need some help please.

you have major carburetor problems that need to be addressed.
Time for a carb rebuild.

flooding = carb problems.

These cars have a injector issue that one of the SE guys can help you with, I have heard the injectors can leak causing the flooding issue.

Do a search in the 1st gen archive for fuel injector fuel leak....

No problem just a hint do a search or check the FAQ all the time, most things you'll ever come across will be in there.

remove your fuel line at the fuel rail, then put a pressure gauge on it, might as well do a timed measure to check volume also, run it into a container for 60 seconds an check th amount of fuel.

Are you sure your trailing plug is firing, check it by removing one and placing it near the block, spark should jump.

I'm not very versed on the 13b FI 1st gen sorry, the ECU is under the floor carpet at the front of the passenger side floor.

One of the most knowledgeable people here is Trochoid, try PMing him with a reference to this post.
