N/A 13b into 1st gen?

I know there are lots of TII swap threads and write-ups..
but searching, I couldn't find a good write up about fitting in an N/A 13b S4 or S5
I hear its pretty easy, but I wouldn't want to miss something obvious

It is exactly the same as the TII except no turbo.

I should've known that..

I'm just concerned about hooking up the ECU and harness for fuel injection.. is it the same harness?

use the s3 harness for now it matches the under dash wiring for the fb's make sure you get the entire engine and under dash harness not just part of it and the little clicking things that make the injectors work. they look kind of like bullets the are on the driver side right next to the brake booster.

S4 and S5 engines have specific differences and wiring harness' for each setup.

But an N/A or TII swap within a given series is the exact same work no matter which type you choose. The support work/plumbing is the same.Things like the wiring, fuel setup, the mounting issues and smog gear are all very, very much alike.....only specific components and their capacities are different.

As Steve has stated. There are differences between the S3 and the S4/S5 harnesses and they are not interchangeable.

ive been doing the research on this for awhile and steve gave the best info on it. best bet is to just search his name even tho he has tons of info.

things that i caught that were to just skin the surface was you need the engine harness from the new motor plus ecu, all sensors, left plug of the ecu so u can custom that last part of wires.

i lost all my bookmarks so i have to find that thread again too...
