Mystery Intake What is it?

Ok Guys hers the pic..........
The guy claims it was removed from a 87, but I have never seen an intake like this before. Then again I dont know much about second gens. Anyone got a clue what it is? Did any 2nd gens come with carbs? It has a single hole on the top.....Which isnt typical for a carb setup......Or EFI for that matter....Let me know what you guys think.........

Goofy intake

Looks like a 1.6/1-8 Toyota intake from the early 80s...

Acutally I did not get stiffed..

I was thinking about buying it because I thought maybe it was an intake for a super charger or custom induction. The guy wont furnish anymore pictures from different angles so I guess he doesnt need to sell it that bad....LMAO

I just wanted to ask you guys what you thought.....BUt obviously its not a mazda intake so he can sit and spin on it for all I give a ****!

On the 2nd gen intake, the flange would've curved down. Post on the 2nd forum but I'm pretty positive it's not a rotary part.

It may have come out of a 7, that had an engine swap, and this guy is rotary clueless.

2nd gens have 4 different intakes, between the S4, S5, NA and TII's, and all were FI.

I don't recognize it as anything in the aftermarket either.
