Mystery coolant leak

My 85 gsl is down and awaiting a carb rebuild that I haven't even begun. Since the car has been sitting I thought I would turn the engine over just to kind of "work the seals" and keep things cherry. Currently the plugs are fouled and the gas tank drained so I had no intention of it starting. The carb is running so rich I doubt it would have started anyway. To the point: Upon turning over the engine a few times I began to hear liquid splashing under the car. Yep, a coolant leak. If under the car facing toward the front and looking at the thermal reactor, the coolant appears to have leaked from somewhere behind and to the left of it.
I had unbolted and removed the exhaust from the thermal reactor to the catback. The cats were extremely clogged. This was the first time I had turned over the engine since then. I looked above and below but couldn't pinpoint the leak. I decided to jack up the car behind the passenger front tire. Lifting the car caused a little more coolant to pour out. After that I couldn't cause anymore to leak even by turning over the engine again. I would guess I lost at least 1qt. I plan on going back for a more thorough examination tomorrow.
Any clues? A friend said possibly a water jacket failed and the coolant was coming from the thermal reactor but I'm 90% sure that's not the case.

Either from the exhaust (hop enot cause that equals BAD), id say check the intake manifold O rings, sounds like its coming from there.

Thanks Mike. I'm hoping it's not coming from the exhaust. I think I would have seen it flowing from the thermal reactor unless it was leaking around the connection to the engine. I feel that was too much coolant to leak from the gasket. It's strange because the car didn't smoke when it ran a couple months ago. It seemed fine minus the carb probs. The cooling system didn't seem pressurized when I removed the radiator cap to check the level after finding the leak. No bubbling from the overflow tank either.
