Mysterious Wires Under Hood, Can You Figure out What They Are?

What does the plug on the end of the harness that goes to the coils do? Its got a red wire and a black wire going throgh the plug, and it plugs in kinda down by the headlight motor, but it has nothing to do with the headlight that I could figure out. I had it unplugged when I first put my coils where they are cause I had to move the harness over to there, and everything worked ok, headlights, signal lights, driving lights, anything that I could think of that it could have been, so whats it do? I extended the wires to it and plugged it back in, but if its not important, I wonder if I can just unplug it again and get rid of it.

That should be the plug for your side marker light. I had mine unpluged for over a year and didn't relize it until I pulled my engine and then when putting everything back to gether I had that "extra" plug. But I'm pretty sure that it goes to your marker light.
