The Mysterious Mystery Tube!

I'm trying to bring this beast of an '84 Gsl back to life but i don't know what this dangling tube is. I can't see what it hooks to on the side it is attatched, and I can't tell where the broken end was supposed to go. Nothing leaks out of it and it didn't seem to have an affect on the engine running (although the carb is in pieces and I can't test that right now). Just found it a little disturbing to find a bar hanging under my car. It looks like it is attatched somewhere just below the carb on the passenger side.

If you've removed the airpump/ cats- yup- you can remove it.
If not- that air does come in handy during the catalytic burn process.

Yep, just the feed tube from your air pump. If no pump, no cat!

Funny, haven't had a rotary powered 7 in almost 4 years and remembered what it was. Thanks for the refresher
