those look nice, man! Panasports? 2-piece?

check out www.tirerack.com for tires. i used to run Yokohama A509s on my SE rims before, but i know they have long since been discontinued as have the AVS Intermediates, but you can check to see if maybe the AVS Sport is available in 14" sizes ...

A great and affordable performance tire is the Falken Azenis Sports in 195/60R14, which can be had for $57 each, including shipping (!), from Discount Tire Direct. Super stiff sidewalls, great grip and -- suprisingly -- do okay in the wet. I've put ~2,500 miles on mine and can't say enough good stuff about them.

P.S. Any idea how much offset on the wheel? Do you need spacers to fit them on your SE?

they'll fit the SE without spacers and i believe the offset is +13...these rims are really popular with the Toyota Corolla AE86 guys for autox...

can't my current stock tires fit these rims 205/60-14? I was told they are the same size...

Neither Vulcan Tire nor Edge Racing include shipping in their prices, so unless you live really close, the overall price is higher. At least in my case -- way out in Seattle -- it was by a big margin. Plus, Discount Tire Direct is the online outlet of a national retail chain (Discount Tire and America's Tire), so you get free mounting and $10 balancing locally.

Bizarro,

Measure the diamtere of the center hole in millimeters, and I can order them for you here in japan. the center caps run around 30~40 bucks depending upon the tire shop I order from. I will get price quote first, and then email you a copy of it.

BTW the watanabe's are one of the lighter rims on the market, especially the the original racing series .

little history for all, the watanabe racing originally came as a 4 spoke model, then they came out with the watanabe 8 spoke then came the RS-8 which weighs the same as the original 8 spokes, but the rs-8 is 2 piece, and aluminum. the original 8 spoke was magnesium and one piece
