my turbo is leaking oil

my turbo is leaking oil

i dont want to start on this project without hearing some advice first. if someone else had this problem can you point me in the right direction

Where is it leaking from?

Check the oil feed and return lines... if everything is okay there, check to see if you have a crack somewhere in the center cartridge.

Did you remove it recently? Did anything wierd happen with it? give us a little more info and you'll probably get a bit more help.

that and check the band clamp on the turbo between the housings.

There's only 3 possibilities. Line going into the turbo (bad hose or fitting), Oil drain (bad hose or fitting) or the turbo itself (needs rebuild)
